ThinkQuantum, partner of QUDICE, hosts the QBC Annual Summit 2024

Europe’s largest quantum industry association

Quic, the Quantum Industry Consortium, is Europe’s largest quantum industry association. It is a not-for-profit industry association dedicated to the growth of the quantum technology sector and making Europe a global market leader. QuIC is part of the coordination and support action of the Quantum Flagship – a European project, which aims to make Europe a dynamic and attractive region for innovative research, business and investments in the dynamic quantum field.

Its members – large enterprises, SMEs and start-ups, investors, research and technology organisations and other associations – work together to inform policies, shape the foundations of the industry, boost the European industry’s competitiveness, and bring value to Europe, its businesses and its citizens.

As part of its program, QuiC organizes events specifically to broaden the network of members to governments, end-users, researchers, educators, standardisation groups and more. They aim to foster a broad, international community committed to the growth of the commercial quantum sector.

As part of its events, QuIC has organized the QBC Annual Summit, together with ThinkQuantum, partner of QUDICE, on November 12th, 2024, an event aimed at bringing together its Members and Affiliates in a single location, to build connections with both QuIC participants and an learn about the latests announcements and news on quantum in the world of industry.

The main goal of this event was to:

• Place the European continent as the world’s meeting point on all quantum industry matters.
• Grow Europe’s quantum industrial base: make continent a heavyweight on the global quantum stage.
• QuIC to serve as a powerful voice for the quantum industry in Europe and abroad.
• Evangelisation: generate more interest and buy-in for quantum tech in Europe.

The two-day programme featured an exciting plenary day with ample networking opportunities, a QBC-internal meeting, and organized visits to local quantum sites in the host entities in Padova, Italy.
